Sophos Connect VPN Setup
The Sophos connect software should be installed with a shortcut on your Desktop before proceeding any further, please check this first.
- Launch VPN Portal - You must be in school to do this. (If not in managed favourites, links are here - VPN Portal)
2. Login using your usual Username and Password
3.You will be presented with a QR code, please open Microsoft Authenticator, tap the + in the top right and pick ‘Other'
4. Click ‘Proceed to Login’
5. You now login with your Username and Password, however your password is now made up of passwordOTPCode where OTP code is the 6 digit number from the Authenticator app at the time.
E.g. if my password is Password1234! then using the below the password I enter will be Password1234!954373
6. Once Logged in, download your VPN connect file as highlighted (It is the first option). Save this somewhere in your OneDrive.
7. Launch the Connect App and select Import Configuration, locate the just saved Configuration.
8. You are now ready for using the VPN when not in school, all you need to do is Launch the Sophos Connect, click connect and login using your Username and Password, however your password is now made up of passwordOTPCode where OTP code is the 6 digit number from the Authenticator app at the time.
E.g. if my password is Password1234! then using the below the password I enter will be Password1234!954373
As your password is unique every time, do not tick to save username and password.
