Email on Mobile

It’s doing this because it’s trying to access the emails from the old location.

  1. Remove the entries for the old email in the Authenticator App, when removing press Yes when it prompts to 'remove from all apps'
  2. Remove the outlook app from your phone and re download it and sign back in, most of the time this clears its ‘memory’ and allows login to the new email.
  3. When logging in, even if it 'remembers' you always pick 'skip' and then add a new account.

If this doesn’t work you can try clearing the app memory in the following way;

iPhone
Offload and Reinstall Outlook App (clears cached login data)

  1. Open Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
  2. Scroll down and tap Outlook.
  3. Tap Offload App (keeps documents but clears app data).
  4. Tap Reinstall App.


Android

  1. Go to Settings on your Android device.
  2. Tap Apps or Apps & notifications.
  3. Find and select Outlook.
  4. Tap Storage & cache.
  5. Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data).
  6. Confirm when prompted
