Email on Mobile
It’s doing this because it’s trying to access the emails from the old location.
- Remove the entries for the old email in the Authenticator App, when removing press Yes when it prompts to 'remove from all apps'
- Remove the outlook app from your phone and re download it and sign back in, most of the time this clears its ‘memory’ and allows login to the new email.
- When logging in, even if it 'remembers' you always pick 'skip' and then add a new account.
If this doesn’t work you can try clearing the app memory in the following way;
iPhone
Offload and Reinstall Outlook App (clears cached login data)
- Open Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
- Scroll down and tap Outlook.
- Tap Offload App (keeps documents but clears app data).
- Tap Reinstall App.
Android
- Go to Settings on your Android device.
- Tap Apps or Apps & notifications.
- Find and select Outlook.
- Tap Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data).
- Confirm when prompted
