Unable to Login to Email after Migration

You may get messages such as 'account locked' or 'the account needs to be added as an external user'


I would recommend removing the old entries from Microsoft Authenticator before proceeding to try and access Emails.

Registering for MFA

Please ensure you have signed out of email and then try logging in as though its a new account, do not just try re-entering your password (although email address hasn't changed, Microsoft see it as a 'new' account). Most issues are caused by having to re-register for MFA, please visit https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info to force this prompt/setup first.

Email Login Issues

Most issues are caused by your web browser or Email program trying to access the old location of your emails. There are a few ways you can convince the emails to login to correct location.

Password 

Your password has not changed during this process as it is 'copied' from your computer login. There is no need to try and reset your password, it will also fail until you have got logged in to register then Authenticator App.
